The ILCC 2008 solicits original and state-of-the-art contributions to the related topics in invited talks, oral presentations, and posters.
The topics include, but are not limited to the followings:
- Molecular design, synthesis, and new materials and phases
- Structures and defects
- Supermolecular ordering
- Macroscopic properties
- Dynamic properties and pattern formation
- Surfaces and confined systems
- Colloids, nanostructured systems, and self assembly
- Polymeric and elastomeric liquid crystals
- Photonics and display applications
- Biological materials and lyotropic systems |

Submission of Abstracts
|
Authors are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations. All contributions will be reviewed before inclusion in the program. Some of invited talks will be selected from the submitted abstracts. Abstracts must be submitted electronically via the conference website where a detailed submission guideline can be found. The status of each submission will be notified by an e-mail. The e-mail notification of the abstract acceptance in either an oral or a poster presentation will be sent by February 28, 2008. The ILCC 2008 will be held at Jeju International Convention Center (ICC Jeju) in the Jungmun resort area of the Jeju island, reached within 40 minutes by bus from Jeju International Airport. The ICC Jeju, Korea's most acclaimed conference destination, and the surrounding environment including accommodations, entertainments, and leisure activities provide an exceptional setting for the ILCC 2008. |
